Mateo, the man behind Mateo’s Pizzeria, although not to forget the woman behind it all, my fiancé Ashleigh.
After moving to the Sunshine Coast in late 2022, we were seeking to be involved with our new community. We are thrilled that Mateo’s Pizzeria was able to do that for us.
The support we have had from our fellow neighbours, new friends and the foodies who just love to try something new has given us reassurance that this is more than just pizzas.
We are here to get involved and involve others, to spread happiness through food and connection.

We are a family run, mobile catering business supplying authentic woodfire pizzas across the Sunshine Coast.
Coming from the Adriatic coast of Europe, Mateo has worked and managed restaurants across the coast of Croatia for over 10 years.
He is now finally up and running in his own mobile pizzeria here on the Sunshine Coast. Mateo has had a passion for hospitality ageing back to his early teenage years and is thrilled to be using his skills across the world.
